Who runs this site
St. Louis residents, as volunteers. This is not a City of St. Louis website. It is not connected to any campaign, party, candidate, or railroad.
What we collect
- Petition: your name, email, ward, whether you want updates, the time you signed, and your browser type.
- "Did you write the FRA?" page: your email and your yes or no answer.
- Contact form: your name, email, group or neighborhood (if you give one), your message, and the time you sent it. It is emailed to the organizer, who replies to you, and a copy is kept in our database.
- Spam protection: a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, deleted after one hour.
What we do not collect
- No cookies, no ads, no tracking pixels.
- We count page visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you.
- Your browser remembers what you typed on this device (local storage) so you do not type it twice. That stays on your device.
Why we collect it
- To count signatures and show totals by ward.
- To send campaign updates, only if you check the box. A few emails at most. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Who sees it
- Only the volunteers who run this site.
- We never sell it or share it. We never give names or emails to the City, a campaign, or anyone else.
- We may publish totals, such as "500 neighbors in 14 wards." We never publish names or emails without your permission.
- The site runs on Vercel (hosting) and Upstash (database). Contact form messages are delivered by Resend (email). They handle the data for us and do not use it.
How long we keep it
We delete the petition list within 90 days after the quiet zone is fully restored.
Get removed
Use the unsubscribe page to stop updates or delete your signature.
Emails you send to City officials
The email tool opens your own mail app. This site never sees or sends those emails. Note: under the Missouri Sunshine Law, messages to City officials can become public records. Anyone can request them, and that can include your name and email address.
